A LITTLE BIT ABOUT WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO...

The Flaming Hog is a family run business (three generations). We are all very passionate about food and thoroughly enjoy making events fun and unique.

The Flaming Hog offer hog roasts and mixed meat roasts for: Weddings, birthdays, christenings and corporate events throughout the North West from our two bases in Cheshire and South Manchester.

We aim to offer the same theatre and delicious fayre of the traditional hog roast but with the style and flair of a modern bistro restaurant. The Flaming Hog offers much more than plain white bread rolls and shop bought apple sauce!

All of our sauces are homemade and specially designed to complement our meat. Our breads are locally sourced from good quality bakers and gluten free options are available.

We offer a range of savoury and sweet culinary extras to delight the taste buds, giving you a more modern choice that will impress every guest.

HOG ROAST AND SLOW COOKED PULLED PORK...

The Flaming Hog is a fully mobile hog roast company covering Cheshire and South Manchester. A large hog takes several hours to cook. Using our top of the range hog roasting machines we slow cook your meat on site and then raise our pop-up marquee at your choice of location before serving time.

Once service begins our chefs and service staff, dressed in stylish white uniforms and butchers aprons, will begin carving the meat and serving your guests.

Once service is over, our team will pack away quickly and efficiently leaving you to enjoy the rest of the party.

HOG ROAST

A whole, locally sourced, farm raised pig is slowly cooked inside one of our mobile hog roasters for upto 12 hours leaving a deliciously tender meat perfect for carving. The size of the hog we use, usually between 35 - 80 kilos, varies on the amount of guests you wish to serve.

PULLED PORK

This is essentially cooked in the same way as a hog roast; however, this is done over a longer time frame. The hog is left to cook slowly on a lower heat for up to 14 hours, leaving succulent, soft pork which falls off the bone. Depending on the number of guests you wish to serve, a whole hog or smaller rolled, boned pork shoulder joints will be cooked.

MIXED MEAT ROAST

Slow Roasted Lamb with Mint Sauce, Chicken, Turkey with Cranberry Sauce and Stuffing, Beef with Horseradish and Mustard, Honey Roast Gammon - Carved to order and served in fresh bread rolls.
